          Mekudeshet Festival

Mekudeshet, produced by the Jerusalem Season of Culture, is a series of artistic experiences that emanate from the city’s reality and seek to inspire that reality in turn. Each year toward summer's end, we present a collection of original, interdisciplinary productions that draw inspiration from Jerusalem, take place in unconventional venues, and create a one-time-only artistic event that is city-specific, relevant to reality and transformative.

Mekudeshet represents the culmination of our year-round effort to delve into and explore the very essence of the city: sacredness. We believe that every moment has the potential to be sacred if we are open and ready to accept this possibility.

          WishTrip

Like most companies, WishTrip was started to fulfill a need. This is a story about the stress of getting lost in an unfamiliar place.

One day one of WishTrip’s founders was hiking with his wife and they got lost. They were looking for a specific point of interest. They tried to find where they were going with their cell phones’ GPS, but it was inadequate because traditional GPS technology only works for marked roads. After a lot of searching and stress, the couple found what they were looking for, which turned out to be a short distance behind them. This caused the WishTrip founder to say “Why isn’t there navigation for travelers?”

Today, WishTrip is a Tourism Experience Management Platform and Smart Tourism Solution that gives tourist destinations the power to shape and influence their visitors’ experiences, learn more about them, and of course keep them from getting lost!.

          Thai at Har Sinai Restaurant

Thai at Har Sinai is the first restaurant by brothers Tzvi and Niv Gross, descendants of a family of restaurateurs who introduced the Israeli audience to Asian cuisine. The brothers, who grew up on authentic, spicy and rich Asian food, decided to recreate the success with a partnership with Nella Potak and chose a particularly central location: the inner court of the Great Synagogue on Allenby Street, the heart of Tel Aviv's bustling nightlife and culinary scene.
Their combination of a DJ, open seating area and a bright cool design has turned the Thai at Har Sinai into one of the city's favorite institutions. The restaurant serves dishes from all regions of Thailand and invites guests to get to know the authentic flavors of their homeland. And yes, it's as hot and spicy as it sounds.

The Center for Contemporary Art is Israel’s foremost institution for the commissioning and presentation of experimental contemporary art, and as such is a vibrant place of inspiration, provocation, and reflection. Situated in the heart of Tel Aviv, the CCA is a registered nonprofit organization that produces four to six unique large-scale exhibitions annually, often focusing on time-based or site-specific practices by outstanding local and international artists. Along with exhibitions, the CCA organizes a wide variety of public programming, including panels, screenings, artist talks, and performances that challenge perceived notions and stimulate debate, experimentation, and engagement.

The CCA is housed in a municipal building that contains two exhibition spaces and an auditorium in its approximately 300 square meter facilities. These spaces often come to life through solo exhibitions and have housed the work of major international artists who have not shown in Israel before, including Marina Abramovic, Sharon Lockhart, Gary Hill, Rosa Barba, and Christian Jankowski. Many important Israeli artists have had their first institutional solo exhibitions at the CCA, including Yael Bartana, Guy Ben Ner, Roee Rosen, Nir Evron, Michal Helfman, and Nira Pereg.

Comme il faut is comprised of a fashion house, women’s only spa, and chef's restaurant located at the Beit Banamal (Home in the Harbor) complex at Tel Aviv port, that offers a women's venue for culture and entertainment. Sybil Goldfiner founded the company together with Carole Godin 22 years ago, as a business by women for women. The company seeks to advance women in Israeli society by developing and cultivating feminist awareness. The approach that guides the company's activities is that a garment is not only a garment, but is also part of an entire gamut of political actions that are motivated by a cultural-critical worldview. The designers at comme Il faut believe that a piece of clothing truly resembles the way in which it was produced, the body image it carries, and the way we choose to advertise and display it. Moreover, the clothing article will always signify the values that inspired its creation.
